Gilda Bucky nee Shiner, 94; beloved wife for 56 years of the late Irving; loving mother of Laurel (Arthur) Feldman, Phyllis (Sidney) Kaplan and Louis (Elizabeth) Bucky; cherished “GG” of Aaron, the late Jordan (Stephanie) and Michael (Talia) Feldman, Deborah (Michael) Mnookin, Leah (Matthew) Barnett and Andrew Kaplan, Alexandra (Rani) Dishi and Caroline (Kyle) Stiefel and proud great-grandmother of Ivy, Lily, Devorah, Meira, Shayna, Yehuda, Samantha, Seth, Miles, Isaac, Dylan and Ruby; devoted daughter of the late Frieda and Mandel Shiner; dear sister of Shirley (the late Samuel) Slavick and the late Seymour Shiner; treasured aunt of many. Gilda was the matriarch of the family and was loved by all. Service today, Thursday, 2:00 PM at Moriah Congregation, 200 Taub Drive, Deerfield. Face masks and social distancing are required to attend. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Moriah Congregation or Solomon Schechter Day School. We are so very sorry for the loss of your dear mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
We live across the street from your family home and would see her lovely caretakers daily.
Unfortunately we did not get to know your mother only though her girls coming and going.
How fortunate she was able to stay in her home especially during this challenging year.
We hope your wonderful memories help you all during this difficult time.
